Fitment & Compatibility

No mower fitment needed. Check these instead:

• Climate zone: Zoysia thrives in USDA zones 5–11. Not ideal for cool-season northern lawns (fescue/bluegrass).
• Soil type: Works in sandy, loamy, or clay soils. Must have good drainage—waterlogged soil kills plugs.
• Sunlight: Requires at least 6 hours of direct sun daily. Not for deep shade.
• Existing grass: Compatible with most warm-season grasses (Bermuda, St. Augustine, Centipede). Will not match cool-season turf color or texture.
• Installation timing: Plant in late spring or early summer when soil temps are 70°F+ for best rooting.
