What It Is

The Toro Lawn Striping System is an add-on roller assembly that presses grass down in alternating directions behind your mower deck to create professional-looking light-and-dark stripes. It’s designed for Toro TimeCutter, Titan, and GrandStand zero-turn mowers used on residential or commercial lawns.

Fitment & Compatibility

• Deck size: Fits 42-, 44-, 48-, 50-, 52-, and 60-inch decks, but you must use the correct mounting bracket kit (sold separately for some models).
• Model check: Confirm your mower model number (e.g., 747xx, 757xx) against Toro’s compatibility list—older TimeCutter models may need a bracket adapter.
• OEM only: This is a genuine Toro part; aftermarket striping kits exist for other brands but won’t bolt directly to Toro decks without modification.
• Measurements: The roller is ~16 inches wide and weighs about 12 pounds. Ensure your deck’s rear discharge chute or bagger attachment doesn’t interfere with mounting.

Key Things to Know

• Installation difficulty: Moderate—requires removing the rear discharge deflector and drilling two holes in the deck (template included). Plan 30–60 minutes.
• Weight & stripe quality: The roller is heavy enough for visible stripes on most grass types, but on very tall or wet grass, stripes may be less defined.
• Common gotcha: The mounting brackets can loosen over time—check bolts after the first few mows and use thread-locker.
• Storage: The roller protrudes behind the mower by about 8 inches, which can make tight turns or storage in a small shed tricky.
