What It Is

The Scag 9298 is a factory OEM mulch plate designed to convert a 48-inch Scag mower deck from side-discharge or bagging to a mulching setup. It blocks the discharge chute so clippings recirculate under the deck for finer cutting and nutrient return to the lawn.

• Deck size: Fits only Scag 48-inch decks (model numbers vary, but the 48” deck is the key spec).
