The Scag 920G 36" Mulch Plate is an OEM accessory that converts a standard side-discharge mower deck into a mulching system. Designed for Scag 36-inch commercial walk-behind mowers, it traps clippings under the deck for finer cutting and nutrient recycling.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm your mower’s deck size is exactly 36 inches—this plate will not fit 48" or 52" decks. It is engineered for Scag models like the Cheetah, Turf Tiger, and V-Ride with 36" fabricated decks. Check your mower’s serial number against Scag’s parts diagram (part #920G) to ensure the mounting holes align. This is an OEM Scag part, so aftermarket knockoffs may have different bolt patterns or thinner steel. Measure the distance between existing deck baffle holes and compare to the plate’s bolt spacing (typically 6.5" center-to-center). If your deck has a side-discharge chute, you’ll need to remove it first.
