This is a black, aftermarket discharge chute assembly designed for Cub Cadet fabricated mower decks. It directs grass clippings out the side of the deck, preventing clogs and ensuring even discharge. Made for 50″ and 54″ fabricated decks on zero-turn and lawn tractors.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm two things:

1. Deck type: This fits fabricated decks only (welded steel, not stamped). Common on Cub Cadet RZT, ZT1, ZT2, ZT3, SX, LX, XT1, XT2, Ultima, Super Bronco, and Z6900 series with 50″ or 54″ fabricated decks. Also fits CYT5023SE, SZ2454.

2. OEM numbers: Replaces OEM 631-05168, 631-05168A, and 631-05168B. If your original chute has any of these numbers stamped on it, this will match.

3. Measure: The chute opening is roughly 6″ wide by 3″ tall. Measure your deck’s chute mounting flange (the flat area where the chute bolts on) to ensure it’s similar. The bolt pattern is two holes spaced about 4.5″ apart.

4. Not for: Stamped decks, older Cub Cadet models without fabricated decks, or decks smaller than 50″.
