The WEN DT1315 is a stand-alone electric dethatcher and scarifier (not a mower attachment) designed for small to mid-sized lawns up to about 1/3 acre. It uses a 13-amp motor to power a 15-inch-wide reel that either rakes out thatch or cuts vertical grooves into soil for overseeding.

Fitment & Compatibility

This is a self-contained unit—it does not attach to any lawn mower. No deck size or brand matching is needed. The only compatibility check is your soil type and thatch depth. It works on flat or gently sloped lawns but struggles on thick, wet grass or heavy clay. The 12-gallon collection bag fits the rear chute only; no adapters are available for larger bags or third-party collectors. The unit requires a standard 120V outdoor extension cord (GFCI recommended); the cord inlet is on the rear handle.
