What It Is

This is an aftermarket replacement seat (LMS2002) designed for Toro riding lawn mowers. It provides a direct-fit alternative to the original seat, intended for homeowners or light commercial use where the factory seat is worn, cracked, or uncomfortable.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, verify these three things:

  • Model series: Fits Toro TimeCutter, TimeCutter SS, TimeCutter Z, and TimeCutter ZS zero-turn mowers (check your specific model number, e.g., 74600–74799). Also fits some Toro Wheel Horse and Groundsmaster models, but not all.
  • Mounting pattern: The seat uses a standard 7.5" x 7.5" four-bolt hole pattern (center-to-center). Measure your existing seat mount to confirm.
  • OEM cross-reference: Replaces Toro OEM part numbers 108-3748, 108-3749, and 108-3750. If your original seat has a different part number, the holes or bracket shape may not align.
  • Deck size irrelevant: Seat fitment is independent of cutting deck size—only the mower frame and mounting pattern matter.

Key Things to Know

  • Quality: Aftermarket seat, not OEM. Foam density and vinyl thickness are lower than Toro original. Expect 2–3 seasons of light use before sagging or cracking.
  • Installation difficulty: Easy—requires a 1/2" socket or wrench. Remove four bolts, swap seat, reinstall. No wiring or safety switch connections (this seat does not include seat switch).
  • Compatibility gotcha: The seat pan is plastic, not steel. If your mower has a seat safety switch, you must transfer the old switch bracket from the original seat—this replacement does not have one.
  • Comfort: Minimal padding. Suitable for short mowing sessions (under 1 hour). Not recommended for large properties or all-day use.

Should You Buy It

Buy this if your Toro seat is physically broken or the vinyl is torn, and you need a quick, low-cost fix for occasional mowing. Skip it if you want OEM durability, have a seat safety switch you can’t easily transfer, or mow for more than an hour at a time—invest in a higher-quality aftermarket or genuine Toro seat instead.
