This MTD Blade Adapter Kit replaces the adapter that connects your mower blade to the crankshaft on select MTD, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, and Yard Machines lawn tractors and zero-turn mowers. The kit includes the adapter, blade bolt (710-1044), and blade bell support washer (736-0524B) for a complete swap.

Fitment & Compatibility

Deck size: Fits most 42", 46", and 50" decks using a 5-point star-shaped adapter.
Model numbers: Directly replaces OEM adapters 753-06304, 748-04096, and 748-04227.
Brands: MTD, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Yard Machines, and other MTD-built brands with a 1" diameter crankshaft (7/16" bolt hole).
Measure the existing adapter: If your current adapter has a 5-point star pattern and a 1" center hole, this will fit. If you have a 6-point or round adapter, it won’t work.
Bolt size: The included bolt is 7/16"-20 thread. Verify your crankshaft uses this thread size.
