Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm three things:

1. Deck size: Fits only 21-inch Honda HRR decks. Measure your blade length – OEM is 21.0 inches end to end, center hole diameter 1.0 inch, with two offset mounting holes (spacing 3.0 inches center-to-center). If your blade measures differently, this set won’t fit.

2. Model compatibility: Direct fit for HRR216K9, HRR216K9A, HRR216K9VKA, HRR216VKA, HRR216VLA, HRR216TDA, HRR217K9, HRR217K9A, HRR217VKA, and HRR217VLA. Check your model number on the mower’s deck sticker – not the engine.

3. OEM vs aftermarket: These are genuine Honda blades. Aftermarket equivalents (e.g., Oregon 91-050) are cheaper but may have slightly different balance or steel hardness. If you have a Honda blade adapter (part 72531-VE2-010), this set includes the correct adapter.

• Installation difficulty: Easy – one bolt per blade (13mm or 1/2-inch socket). Torque to 35–40 ft-lbs. Mark blade orientation before removal; these are not reversible.
• Quality: Factory heat-treated steel with anti-rust coating. Edge holds sharpness longer than most aftermarket blades.
