What It Is

This is a factory mulching kit for Cub Cadet Enduro XT2, SLX50, and GX50 mowers with 50-inch stamped steel decks. It replaces the side-discharge chute and deflector with a set of three baffles and a mulch plug that recirculates clippings for finer cutting and lawn feeding.

Fitment & Compatibility

Deck size: Only for 50-inch stamped decks (not fabricated/fab decks). Check your deck’s underside for “50” stamped into the shell.
Models: Enduro XT2 (LX, LT, LS, SE), SLX50, GX50 series. Also fits Cub Cadet 50-inch FastAttach decks on select ZT, SC, and LT models.
OEM: Genuine Cub Cadet part (19A30039100). Aftermarket knockoffs exist but often have thinner steel and misaligned bolt holes.
What to measure: Bolt hole spacing on the deck’s underside – this kit uses three mounting points, two on the left side and one at the rear. If your deck lacks the rear hole, you cannot install it without drilling.
Check your existing hardware: The kit includes new bolts, but some older decks may need washers or lock nuts (not included).

• Installation difficulty: Moderate – requires removing the blade and side-discharge chute. Allow 30-45 minutes with basic hand tools.
• Cut quality: Works best with sharp, high-lift mulching blades (sold separately). Standard blades will leave clumps in thick grass.
• Durability: The baffles are stamped steel, but the mulch plug is plastic. The plug can crack if you hit a solid object or if the mower is stored with the plug left in.
• Gotchas: The kit does not fit 50-inch fabricated decks (common on ZT series). Also, the FastAttach system means you must remove the entire side-discharge assembly – the kit won’t work if you want to swap quickly between mulching and discharging.
