What It Is

This is a 3-piece aftermarket kit with two 20V 6.5Ah lithium-ion batteries and a fast charger, designed to power any Worx 20V PowerShare tool—including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws. It replaces the need for OEM Worx batteries (WA3578, WA3881) at a lower cost.

Fitment & Compatibility

  • Compatible with: All Worx 20V PowerShare tools (mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, etc.) that use slide-on batteries. Check your tool’s battery port—if it’s the standard Worx slide-in style, this works.
  • Not compatible with: Worx 40V or 60V tools, or older 18V Worx systems.
  • OEM vs aftermarket: This is a third-party replacement, not made by Worx. It fits physically and electrically, but may not charge in some Worx-branded chargers (use the included charger).
  • What to verify before buying:
    • Your tool’s voltage label (must say 20V).
    • Battery slot type (slide-on, not post-style).
    • If you have a Worx mower, confirm the battery compartment depth—6.5Ah batteries are slightly taller than 2.0Ah OEM packs; measure clearance if you have a tight fit.

Key Things to Know

  • No installation required – batteries slide on/off like OEM. The charger plugs into a standard wall outlet.
  • Capacity: 6.5Ah per battery gives roughly 2–3x longer run time than a standard 2.0Ah Worx battery. Expect 45–60 minutes of mowing per charge on a small-to-medium lawn.
  • Charging speed: The included fast charger tops a 6.5Ah battery in about 90 minutes. Slower than some OEM fast chargers, but still practical.
  • Gotcha: Aftermarket batteries may not show accurate charge level on Worx tools with LED fuel gauges. Some users report the gauge stays at full until the battery suddenly dies. Plan to test runtime once.

Should You Buy It

Buy this if you need cheap, high-capacity backup batteries for multiple Worx 20V tools and don’t mind losing the OEM fuel gauge accuracy. It’s a great value for homeowners with a small lawn and several PowerShare tools—but if you rely on precise battery level indicators or need the absolute longest lifespan, stick with genuine Worx batteries.
