This is a 2-pack of 13x5.00-6 flat-free (solid) front tire and wheel assemblies for riding lawn mowers. Designed to replace pneumatic front tires on zero-turn mowers, garden tractors, or lawn tractors, they eliminate flats and are ideal for rough terrain, gravel, or heavy-use properties.
Fitment & Compatibility
Before buying, verify these four measurements:
- Tire size: Must be 13x5.00-6 (13" outer diameter, 5" width, 6" rim). Measure your current tire—do not guess.
- Offset: The hub is adjustable from 3" to 6" offset. Measure your current wheel’s offset (distance from hub mounting face to wheel centerline). You’ll need to set this before installing.
- Bearing & axle: Kit includes 3/4", 5/8", and 1/2" bearings. Check your mower’s axle diameter and spindle type. Common on 1/2" and 5/8" spindles; 3/4" is less common.
- Load capacity: Rated at 400 lb per wheel. Fine for most residential zero-turns and lawn tractors, but not for heavy commercial mowers or tractors over ~800 lb front axle load.
No universal fit—check your mower’s front wheel bolt pattern and axle length. Most common on Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, John Deere, and MTD models with standard spindles.
Key Things to Know
- Installation is moderate: You’ll need to set the offset with included spacers and may need to swap bearings. No tire mounting required—just bolt-on.
- Ride quality is firmer: Flat-free tires transmit more vibration than pneumatics. Expect a rougher ride on bumpy lawns, but zero flat risk.
- Adjustable offset is useful: If your mower has non-standard track width, you can fine-tune alignment. Mark your current offset before disassembly.
- Check spindle clearance: The wheel hub is slightly thicker than some OEM wheels. Ensure your spindle nut has enough thread engagement (at least 1/4" past the nut).
Should You Buy It
Buy this if you’re tired of fixing flat front tires on your riding mower, especially if you mow over sticks, rocks, or gravel. It’s a solid value for homeowners with standard 13x5.00-6 wheels and adjustable offset needs. Skip it if you prioritize a cushy ride or have an unusually narrow or wide front axle that can’t accommodate the 3–6" offset range.
