Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm these three things:

1. Model compatibility – Fits John Deere Z425, Z445, Z335M, Z355R, X520, and X534. Does NOT fit most X500-series with 54-inch decks or older X300-series machines.
2. Measurements – The clutch has a 1-inch bore, 4.25-inch outer diameter, and 3.5-inch mounting bolt pattern (three bolts). Measure your old clutch to verify.
3. Electrical check – Requires a 12V DC system. The two-wire connector is standard but verify your harness plug matches (some Deere models use a different connector).

• Belt alignment – Double-check that the PTO pulley aligns with your deck belt. A misaligned belt causes rapid wear and poor cutting.
