What It Is

A set of two 9-inch diameter, flat-free solid PU tires designed for zero-turn mowers, garden carts, and small utility trailers. No air means zero flats, but a rougher ride.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm these four measurements:

  • Tire size: Must be exactly 9x3.50-4 (9" tall, 3.5" wide, 4" rim diameter). Measure your current tire’s sidewall.
  • Hub diameter: The centered hub is 3.5" to 5" wide. Measure the hub pocket on your mower or cart—if it’s narrower or wider, these won’t fit.
  • Axle bore: Two options included—3/4" and 5/8". Check your axle diameter with a caliper. If your axle is 1/2" or 1", these won’t work.
  • Bolt pattern: No universal bolt pattern. These are hub-centered, not lug-centered. For zero-turn mowers, verify the hub fits over your existing spindle hub assembly (common on older Gravely, Ariens, or Snapper models). For carts, ensure the axle length matches the hub width.

No OEM-specific compatibility list—measure before ordering.

Key Things to Know

  • Ride quality: Solid PU is stiff. Expect a bumpier ride on rough terrain compared to pneumatic tires. Not ideal for mowing lawns with bumps or debris.
  • Installation: No special tools needed. Slide over axle, secure with cotter pin or clip. May be tight on older, rusted spindles—use a mallet.
  • Weight capacity: Each tire supports roughly 300 lbs. Overloading or high-speed turns can stress the hub. Check your machine’s total weight.
  • Durability: PU can crack in extreme cold or UV exposure. Store indoors if possible. Some users report hub separation after heavy use—inspect periodically.

Should You Buy It

Buy these if you’re tired of fixing flats on a garden cart, small trailer, or a low-use zero-turn mower on smooth, flat ground. Skip them if you need a cushioned ride, have a non-standard axle size, or use your mower on rough, bumpy lawns—pneumatic tires will serve you better.
