This mulch plug blocks the side-discharge chute on compatible Honda walk-behind mowers, forcing clippings to recirculate inside the deck for finer mulching. It replaces OEM part numbers 76266-VG4-010ZA, 76266-VG4-000ZB, and 76266-VG4-000ZA.

Fitment & Compatibility

• Exact models: HRR216 (K2–K8), HRT216 (K1–K2), and HRZ216. Check your mower’s model tag under the seat or on the deck—these are 21" steel-deck models only.
• Deck size: Fits 21" Honda mowers with a dedicated side-discharge plug slot (not universal). Will not fit 20" or 22" decks.
• OEM vs aftermarket: This is a direct replacement for the OEM plug. It uses the same spring-clip retention system—no tools needed for install.
• Measurements: The plug body is roughly 5" x 3" x 1.5". The two spring clips must align with the two slots on the deck chute opening. If your mower has a broken OEM plug, this will drop in.

• Installation: Push the plug into the chute until the spring clips snap into the slots. No screws or bolts. To remove, squeeze the clips and pull outward.
