This is a set of two complete wheel and tire assemblies (20x10.00-8) designed for riding lawn mowers, garden tractors, and zero-turn mowers. The 4-ply tubeless tires with a 3.5" offset hub and 3/4" borehole provide a load capacity of 1,190 lbs per pair, making them suitable for heavier-duty mowing and light utility work.
Fitment & Compatibility
Before buying, verify these three measurements on your current wheel:
- Tire size: Must be 20x10.00-8 (or 20x10-8 NHS). This replaces most 20x8-8, 20x9-8, and 20x10-8 tires.
- Borehole: The center hole must be 3/4" (0.75") diameter. Measure your axle shaft – if it’s larger (e.g., 1"), these won’t fit.
- Keyway: Requires a 3/16" keyway slot. If your axle uses a different key size or no key, you’ll need a different hub.
- Offset: The 3.5" offset (hub face to tire centerline) is common on many Craftsman, Husqvarna, John Deere, and MTD models. Measure your current wheel’s offset to confirm.
- Bolt pattern: These use a standard 4-bolt pattern (4 on 4" center). Check your mower’s hub pattern – most riding mowers use this, but some zero-turns use 4 on 4.5".
Not compatible with mowers that have a 1" axle, 5/8" bore, or non-standard offset.
Key Things to Know
- Installation difficulty: Easy – remove old wheel, slide on new one, tighten lug nuts to 50-60 ft-lbs. No tire mounting needed; these are pre-assembled.
- Quality: 4-ply rating provides decent puncture resistance for residential use. Not for heavy commercial mowing or rough terrain.
- Tubeless design: No tubes to replace, but rims may not seal perfectly if bent. Check rim bead before installation.
- Load capacity: 1,190 lbs total (595 lbs per tire) is sufficient for most riding mowers (300-500 lbs). Exceeds this for heavy zero-turns with an operator and attachments.
Should You Buy It
Buy if you need a complete, bolt-on replacement for a 20x10-8 tire with a 3/4" bore and 3.5" offset – especially if your old tires are worn, dry-rotted, or have damaged rims. Skip if your axle size is non-standard, you need a different offset, or you’re looking for heavy-duty commercial tires.
