What It Is

This is a set of two 13x6.50-6 flat-free (puncture-proof) front tires for zero-turn mowers, commercial mowers, or lawn tractors. They use solid foam construction so they never go flat, eliminating downtime from punctures or slow leaks.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, verify these three measurements:

  • Tire size: 13x6.50-6 (13" outer diameter, 6.50" width, fits a 6" rim). Common on zero-turn front wheels, but also some lawn tractors and garden tractors.
  • Bearing bore: Set includes 3/4", 1/2", and 5/8" chrome steel bearings. Measure your axle diameter (most zero-turns use 3/4" or 5/8"). If your axle is 1/2", use the included 1/2" bearing.
  • Hub centering: The hub is centered, meaning the tire’s mounting hole is in the middle of the wheel. This is standard for most zero-turn front wheels. Measure your existing hub’s diameter (5.5" to 7.5" range) to confirm it matches.

Not compatible with offset hubs (common on some older tractors or rear wheels). If your mower uses a non-centered hub, these won’t fit.

Key Things to Know

  • Weight & ride: Flat-free tires are heavier than pneumatic. Expect a firmer ride—good for commercial durability, but can be jarring on bumpy lawns.
  • Installation: No air needed, but you may need to press the bearings into the wheel hub. Use a bearing press or a socket/block of wood with a hammer. Do not hammer directly on the bearing race.
  • Hub size check: The 5.5"-7.5" centered hub range is wide, but measure your wheel’s center hole diameter precisely. If it’s outside that range (e.g., 8" or 4"), these won’t mount.
  • Speed rating: These are for front wheels only (non-driven). Do not use on drive axles—they lack the structural reinforcement for torque.

Should You Buy It

Buy these if you run a zero-turn mower commercially or on rough terrain where flats are common. The flat-free design saves time and hassle, and the included bearing set covers most common axle sizes. Skip them if you need a cushioned ride for a residential lawn or if your mower uses an offset or non-standard hub. For the price, they’re a solid upgrade for durability over pneumatic tires.
