What It Is

This is a set of two flat-free 11x4.00-5 tires with solid polyurethane construction and centered steel hubs, designed for zero-turn mowers and riding lawn tractors where puncture resistance and zero maintenance are priorities.

Fitment & Compatibility

  • Tire size: 11x4.00-5 (11” outer diameter, 4” width, 5” rim). Verify your current tire size matches exactly—11x4.00-5 is common but not universal.
  • Hub dimensions: Centered hub with a 3.4”–4.8” bolt pattern (center-to-center). Measure your mower’s wheel bolt spacing; if outside this range, these won’t bolt on.
  • Bearings: Comes with 3/4” and 5/8” inner bearing sets. Check your axle shaft diameter—most zero-turns use 3/4”, but some older or compact models use 5/8”.
  • Load rating: 350 lbs per tire (700 lbs total). Fine for standard residential zero-turns and riding mowers, but not for heavy commercial units or front caster wheels on large mowers.
  • OEM vs aftermarket: Not OEM for any specific brand. Works as a universal replacement if dimensions match. Check clearance—solid tires are slightly taller than some pneumatic equivalents.

Key Things to Know

  • Zero maintenance: No air, no flats, no patching. The polyurethane foam won’t go flat, but the ride is noticeably stiffer than pneumatic—expect more vibration on rough terrain.
  • Installation: Easy bolt-on if your axle and hub pattern match. You may need to swap bearings (both sizes included) or use the included spacers to center the hub. No special tools required.
  • No traction on wet grass: The smooth tread is fine for hard surfaces and dry lawns but can slip on slopes, mud, or wet grass. Not ideal for hilly or damp conditions.
  • Weight: About 8 lbs per tire/wheel combo—slightly heavier than pneumatic, but not a deal-breaker for most mowers.

Should You Buy It

Buy these if you’re tired of fixing flats on a residential zero-turn or riding mower, your axle and bolt pattern match, and you mow mostly flat, dry lawns. Skip them if you need traction on hills, wet grass, or rough terrain—smooth solid tires will slide and ride harshly.
