This is a 2-pack of 13x5.00-6 flat-free (solid foam) tires pre-mounted on steel wheels. Designed for zero-turn mowers, riding tractors, and small lawn tractors where air-filled tires keep going flat.
Fitment & Compatibility
Before buying, check these three things:
- Tire size: Must be 13x5.00-6 (13" outer diameter, 5" width, 6" rim). Measure your existing tire sidewall.
- Wheel hub: Centered hub with 3/4" and 5/8" bearings. Measure your axle diameter—most common on Craftsman, Husqvarna, MTD, Troy-Bilt, and John Deere lawn tractors.
- Bolt pattern: 3" centered hub (no offset). Verify your mower uses a centered hub, not an offset one. Measure center of axle hole to wheel rim edge.
Common on front wheels of many riding mowers and rear wheels of some smaller tractors. Not compatible with zero-turn mowers that use 4" or 5" hubs.
Key Things to Know
- No maintenance: Flat-free means no air pressure checks, no flats from thorns or punctures. But the ride is stiffer—expect more vibration on uneven ground.
- Installation: Usually a direct swap if axle size matches one of the two bearing sizes. May need a spacer if your axle is 5/8" (use included bearing) or 3/4" (use other bearing).
- Weight capacity: Solid foam tires are heavier than air-filled. Check your mower’s weight rating—these handle most residential riding mowers but may sag under heavy commercial use.
- Traction: The solid tread pattern is decent on grass and dirt but poor on wet pavement or loose gravel. Not for aggressive slopes.
Should You Buy It
Buy these if you’re tired of patching front tires on your riding mower or tractor, especially if you mow over thorns, rocks, or debris. They’re a solid value for residential use and easy to install. Skip them if you need a softer ride or your mower uses an offset hub—check your wheel first.
