What It Is

This is a set of two flat-free (never-flat) 11x6.00-5 lawn mower tires mounted on solid steel wheels, designed for zero-turn mowers, riding mowers, and commercial mowers where puncture resistance is critical. The solid foam core eliminates flats, making them ideal for heavy use on rough terrain or debris-prone properties.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm three things:

  • Tire size: Must be 11x6.00-5 (check sidewall of your current tire). This fits most zero-turn and riding mowers, including Bobcat, Cub Cadet, Gravely, Hustler, John Deere, Scag, Toro, etc.
  • Bearing/bushing: You get three options – 3/4", 5/8", or 1/2" inner diameter. Measure your axle shaft diameter (not the hub) with calipers. Most zero-turns use 3/4" or 5/8".
  • Hub centering: The hub is centered (not offset) and has a 6" to 8" bolt pattern range. Measure the distance between two opposite mounting holes on your existing wheel. If your pattern is outside that range, this won’t fit.

Key Things to Know

  • No air, no maintenance: Flat-free means zero patching or inflation, but the ride is noticeably stiffer than pneumatic tires, especially on bumpy lawns.
  • Load capacity: Rated for 400 lbs per tire (800 lbs total). Fine for most residential and light commercial mowers, but heavy-duty commercial machines with ballast may exceed this.
  • Installation: Moderate difficulty – you may need to swap bearings or bushings to match your axle. Bolts are included, but check if your mower uses metric or SAE hardware.
  • Common gotcha: The solid rubber can be difficult to mount if your old rim is rusted or damaged. Use penetrating oil on stuck bolts. Also, these wheels are slightly heavier than pneumatics, which can affect steering effort on some zero-turns.

Should You Buy It

Buy this if you’re tired of fixing flats on a residential or light commercial zero-turn mower and want a durable, maintenance-free upgrade. Skip it if you need a cushioned ride for delicate turf or if your mower’s bolt pattern falls outside 6–8 inches. For the price, it’s a solid value for hassle-free operation.
