What It Is

This is a direct replacement front wheel and tire assembly for Toro TimeCutter and Exmark Quest zero-turn mowers. It uses a 4.10x3.50-4 tire, a 3/4” ID axle, and a 4-1/4” hub length with a grease zerk for lubrication.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm your mower uses a 3/4-inch axle diameter and has a hub length of 4-1/4 inches (measure from the inside of the wheel hub to the end of the axle). This assembly is designed for Toro TimeCutter models (e.g., SS4225, SS5000) and Exmark Quest models with the same axle specs. It is not compatible with Toro Z-Master or Exmark Lazer Z series. Check your mower’s model number and deck size (typically 42”–50”) against the manufacturer’s fitment chart.

Key Things to Know

  • Quality vs. OEM: Aftermarket replacement—same tire size and bearing specs as OEM, but may have slightly different rubber compound or tread pattern. Still reliable for residential use.
  • Installation: Easy swap. Remove the old wheel’s cotter pin and washer, slide off, install new one, and re-pin. No special tools needed.
  • Grease Zerk: The zerk lets you add grease to the wheel bearings, extending life. Use a standard grease gun; don’t overpack.
  • Common Gotcha: Measure hub length carefully—some TimeCutter models use a 4” hub. If yours is 4”, this wheel will not fit properly.

Should You Buy It

Buy this if you need a budget-friendly, direct-fit front wheel for a Toro TimeCutter or Exmark Quest with a 3/4” axle and 4-1/4” hub. It’s a good value for residential use, but commercial operators may prefer OEM for longer duty cycles.
